The delay is reportedly tied to ongoing tensions between China and Japan, suggesting the originally planned Japanese-themed area is undergoing last-minute tweaks. A fresh social media post confirms the new destination as Planarcadia and even drops a small teaser about what may lie ahead.
Anticipation is high because the upcoming Elation storyline is set to play a central role, with Aeon Aha vibes—think the enigmatic Masked Fools and Mourning Actors. This context lines up with a social media screenshot from Honkai Star Rail that features six character silhouettes, including Sparkle.
From left to right, the silhouettes appear to be Sparkle, a mystery figure who could be a Himeko SP or Yao Guang, Blade, La Mancha (the upcoming Galaxy Ranger), Silver Wolf, and a Sakura-inspired version reminiscent of a Honkai Impact character. There are whispers about SP versions for Blade, Sparkle, Himeko, and Silver Wolf, and this silhouette lineup could be a nod to those possibilities.
